Just learned out that 21 years ago today, Dead Or Alive's "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" hit number one in the UK.

Dead or Alive. God, I loved that record. Still do. Thought for a hot second that it was Boy George, and even when I saw Pete Burns I wasn't completely convinced. Still, nice to hear it even today.

Even Morrissey was a fan of Dead or Alive. Unbelieveable? Check out this interview with Pete and Moz from October 1985. The pic alone is awesome. I love how Morrissey says "You Spin Me Round" is a hallmark in British music and it will never ever date. You know what? He was right.
